The Bruno Mattress has been thoroughly tested and complies to the flammability requirements of BS EN 597-1:19959 and BS EN 597-2:1995 (from BS 7177:2008+A1:2011 Low Hazard). The test (EN 597:1995: “Furniture – Assessment of the ignitability of mattresses and upholstered bed bases”) has been carried out on our mattress, using a standardised test to assess ignition resistance to a smouldering cigarette and a match flame on the surface of the mattress.
Our mattress is certified as safe for domestic use by the British Standard for fire safety.

Yes. The Bruno Mattress does not contain any animal products such as wool, silk or casein. We source our materials from sustainable sources wherever possible and hand assemble Bruno in Germany. Additionally, our latex top layer is certified by independent institutes including:
The Bruno Mattress is designed to be suitable for most bases, or even placed directly onto the floor. A slatted base, sprung slats, or a solid base will act as a good support. It is also possible to use a bed with an adjustable bed frame with your Bruno Mattress, though we recommend that the gradient does not exceed 45 degrees.
If a slatted base is being used, we recommend that the gaps do not exceed 7cm. Gaps which are wider than this should also be absolutely fine, however you might find small indentations in the bottom of the mattress if it was left in the same position for a long period of time. For this, we can suggest rotating your Bruno Mattress (head to toe) once or twice per year.
Yes! You can use an electric blanket with your Bruno Mattress.
At this time we do not manufacture or sell bed frames as we are concentrating fully on the Bruno Mattress; the best mattress for the ultimate sleep experience!
There is no need to flip Bruno, however we can suggest rotating the mattress (head to toe) once or twice per year.
The soft quilted cover top can be fully removed and machine washed at home. A concealed zipper runs along the inside of the cover allowing the cover to be completely detached for washing.
We recommend rotating your Bruno Mattress (head to toe) once every couple of months in the first year of use, and twice a year after that. This will help ensure your weight continues to be evenly distributed and you feel the full benefit of our 7-zone support base.

Yes really! Delivery is absolutely free to anywhere in mainland United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Deliveries occur weekdays from Monday to Friday.
At this time we have launched in the UK only and delivery elsewhere is not possible.
From the time you place your order, delivery should take between 1 – 3 business days. When your order is sent for dispatch we will notify you by email. Our logistics partner will then send you an email confirming delivery for the next working day. If delivery on the next working day is not convenient, please use the contact telephone number stated in the email to call your local depot to re-arrange a more convenient delivery.

Our delivery partners deliver to your house door and cannot assist with bringing it into a particular bedroom. We cannot guarantee that the courier will be able to assist you with moving your delivery up any stairs.
Bruno is a “one-sided” symmetrical mattress. Therefore, it does not matter which way up the mattress is orientated, as long as the white cover top is facing upwards. Simply unbox your Bruno onto your bedframe and carefully cut open the plastic. The mattress will start to expand by itself. We recommend leaving your mattress for around 3-4 hours after opening so that it has time to fully expand.
We do not currently offer this service. However, we do recommend that you contact your local charity shop for donation. Many of these charity shops will pick up your old mattress free of charge. Perhaps you’d like to start with the British Heart Foundation donation centre.
Simple - if for any reason you are not satisfied with your Bruno Mattress within the first 101 nights, please send an email to email@example.com and we will arrange for the collection at our expense. Please include your full name or order number within the email.
You don’t need to keep the original packaging (there is no way a Bruno will fit back into the box). We will send you a returns pack containing some plastic wrapping which you will use to wrap the mattress ready for collection.
Yes, a signature is required when your mattress is delivered. It is possible that a trusted neighbour can be nominated to receive and sign for your mattress.
